Flipside Wallets: From Identity Crisis To Securing Success


Flipside Wallets has evolved the classic wallet, creating a compact, modern, RFID-blocking and locking wallet that keeps users' privacy protected from identity thieves while still being organized and stylish. Durably built for security and designed for comfort, their proof of concept was crushproof. However, after struggling with developing their brand identity on Amazon and low performance, they flipped to the marketing pros at FME.

FME identified the challenges Flipside Wallets faced with developing their product’s brand on Amazon—despite being brand owners, they lacked the brand registry necessary to secure their identity. Additionally, their catalog suffered from organizational flaws and inconsistencies. By isolating these weaknesses within their catalog and seller account, FME was able to craft a comprehensive, multi-phase plan to not only hone and secure their brand identity within the Amazon marketplace but dramatically improve their performance.


Intending to boost performance while optimizing content concurrently, FME established a phased timeline approach. Due to the extent of challenges identified within the initial analysis, this structured plan split work into "remedial" and "developmental" phases. Along with establishing Brand Registry, initial priorities focused on catalog reorganization (deletions and variations) and content optimization (images, product listing, and A+ content), followed by building and maintaining PPC ad campaigns.

This approach made sure to create a crushproof plan that would best position Flipside Wallets to yield consistent, high traffic results that grew over time.


Since establishing a working relationship with FME in November 2019, Flipside Wallets has achieved $133K in sales at an impressively low 20% ACoS. Although their catalog's overhaul helped secure their brand identity on Amazon and high-quality content optimization significantly boosted performance, FME's PPC ad campaigns have made them crushproof!

After launching a Sponsored Product campaign in July 2020, FME has further boosted Flipside's performance by an incredible 72% month-over-month growth and a whopping 49% increase in overall sales!
