General Chemical came to FME with a large catalog of industrial strength cleaning, solvent, deck maintenance, paving, and other chemical products. They were seeking assistance with growing the sales and reach of their items on Amazon.
They soon alerted us to an unexpected deletion of around half of their catalog. Amazon was not able to provide them a resolution to this, so General Chemical was counting on FME for help. To their delight, FME was able to not only restore their entire inventory in about a week, but also restructured and cleaned up their inventory catalog into a more usable format, including intelligent variation architecture.
FME then began to write and implement content for General Chemical's product listings. We also added Enhanced Brand Content to provide more product information to customers and increase conversion. Furthermore, FME enrolled General Chemical's account in Amazon Business, which allowed us to upload PDF versions of their technical data sheets directly onto the listings, which are crucial due to the nature of their products since buyers often require this type of information prior to or after purchase.
Following the heavy catalog restructuring and product listing optimization by FME, General Chemical has seen their best month of sales to date, even without using advertising. Without FME's help, General Chemical would have needed to spend a large amount of time rebuilding their missing catalog items.
