After the client's initial attempts at Shopify failed, FME advised the client to convert to a custom site on the Laravel Framework. This would allow a full integration with client's existing infrastructure as well as nimble control over product selection, pricing, marketing, and many other attributes not possible with a WYSIWYG solution like Shopify.

ResourcefulSupply approached FME to deploy their plan of launching an e-commerce website based on the Shopify platform. While Shopify may be the best solution for many stores and brands, FME used its extensive resources and experience in e-commerce solutions to present an alternative plan to fully meet all of ResourcefulSupply's needs. With ResourcefulSupply's inventory of nearly 130,000 products, it was clear that Shopify was not a good fit for their inventory size, profit margins, and scalability needs. FME proposed a custom build using the Laravel framework with additional libraries.
To streamline processes and incorporate the e-commerce presence into their current operations, FME added API integration with ResourcefulSupply's current ERP system, shipping and logistics companies, and third party vendors.
FME is currently working on systems automation for routing of site orders via ResourcefulSupply's existing fulfillment systems, greatly reducing their human labor costs
The design and build of ResourcefulSupply's website took FME approximately 90 days, after which PPC marketing was immediately launched. Through careful planning and strategic implementation, the marketing efforts were immediately successful, producing a 5.6 ROAS - a prosperous start, especially considering the breakeven point of 5.0. FME continues to optimize these marketing campaigns to maintain the ROAS but increase the conversion rate. FME is currently testing margin configurations in a scientific way to determine which margin will have the best outcome for net profit to the client.
